Celebrating multilingualism

Students at Einstein School excel in a multilingual setting, learning Polish and English from Grade Zero, with Spanish introduced from Grade 6 and German and Italian as after-school options.

Our English teaching follows the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach, where English is a natural part of everyday learning. Pupils explore topics like music, computing, film and storytelling in English, building confidence and fluency in a meaningful, engaging way.

Supported by the EAL (English as an Additional Language) programme, native language assistance and weekly language lessons children become confident communicators ready for global opportunities.

English Additional languages

English

Students begin their English journey in the early years and continue to build their skills throughout their education. Through a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach, they learn subjects in English, using the language as a tool to explore and understand the world. Rather than studying English in isolation, pupils engage with real content – including science, music, computing and storytelling - while developing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in immersive, task-based lessons.

In collaboration with the British Council, Einstein School provides children the opportunity to take Cambridge language exams such as the PET and First Certificate, further enhancing their language proficiency. These exams offer recognition of their progress, empowering students with confidence and practical English for school and beyond.

Our school also integrates multiple international and language-focused projects, including the Teddy Bear Exchange, giving pupils further opportunities to use English in meaningful, real-world contexts.

Additional languages

Children have the opportunity to broaden their horizons by learning additional languages including Italian, German and Spanish. From Grade 6, all students begin studying Spanish as part of the curriculum, while Italian and German are offered through engaging after-school clubs. These activities help pupils develop confidence in communication, cultural awareness and global understanding - essential skills for life beyond the classroom.
