Einstein School students visit the headquarters of Frontex in Warsaw

11-06-2026

On June 2, students from Year 7 and Year 8 visited the headquarters of Frontex in Warsaw.

The visit was conducted in English, providing an excellent opportunity to develop language skills in an authentic international environment.

During the visit, we learned about the history and development of Frontex – the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, which has been supporting EU Member States in protecting the external borders of the European Union for the past 20 years. We also gained insight into the daily work of experts and officers responsible for monitoring border situations and responding to various threats and irregularities.

The students actively participated in the meeting and asked many thoughtful questions. Another highlight of the visit was the interactive exhibition, where we learned how document authenticity is verified, experienced virtual journeys, and explored modern technologies used by the agency.

It was an inspiring experience that allowed us to better understand the work of one of the European Union’s key agencies and encouraged some of us to consider similar career paths in the future.
